My autographs from MCM yesterday!
Obviously as such a Liara fangirl, I was so excited to meet Ali, but they were all so lovely and patient and a pleasure to meet. I had a good long talk with all of them, especially Alix and Ali, even though they were in such high demand and seemed really genuinely humbled when I told them how much I enjoyed their work - the same goes for the guys at Bioware (Chris, Holly and Jessica) who I ran into at the end of the day, when I simply told them that I felt Mass Effect is an incredible series.
And yes, I’m still laughing about what Alix wrote - I didn’t realise until the end of the day that she had written that, and I burst out laughing at the confusion it caused my dad… Now that was an awkward explanation ahaha.
London MCM Expo
Wow.. What an AWESOME day. Ok, it was kinda sucky that Ali Hillis wasn’t there, as she was the main reason I bought my ticket originally - AND I wanted to meet Raphael Sbarge but he was charging £15(!!!!) for each autograph…. But that said, there was SO much to make up for it!
- Met Nicholas Boulton (Male Hawke from Dragon Age 2) and got his autograph and a photo
- Met Kimberly Brooks (Ashley Williams from the Mass Effect series *SQUEEEE*) and had a really nice chat with her about the Extended Cut DLC and how unfortunate the events surrounding it were, and that she is really hopeful about the new DLC - plus, she told me her recording session is next week! Also got a photo and autograph from her :)
- Went to Noel Clarke’s Q&A session about his new film, and he answered one of my questions (YAY!)
- Met and got a signed piece of concept art from one of the lead designers from Runescape which was pretty awesome seeing as that game used to completely dominate my life haha
- Went to the “Alien: Colonial Marines” booth and got a hug from an Alien (who also scared the crap out of me when he suddenly growled at me half way through…)
- Got a hug from a 7ft Mario and Pikachu
- Met some SEXY ASS and totally amazing cosplayers - hats off to all you guys, there were some insane costumes out there.
- Aaaand to top it all off got a bunch of swag, some paid, some free
TOTALLY worth the money, if anyone is considering going in October. I know I am!
London MCM Expo
As a way of celebrating the end of my exams/getting over the misery of my attempts to pass, I’m off to MCM EXPO to see Ali Hillis (ASDFGHJKL) and to generally just gawk at all the stands, totally overwhelmed by my first visit to a con.
